1939 Ford Coupe
This car was originally built in Tennessee in about 1999. Murray purchased the car in 2012, and has made some minor modifications to the car to personalize it to his taste. The car has a Chevrolet 350 engine with a 350 automatic, a 10 bolt Camaro rear end, mustang II styled independent front suspension, and a custom tan leather interior.
Murray regularly takes his 39 Ford to the Thursday night car show in Red Deer, to “Show and Shines” across Alberta, and — one of the longer trips — he annually treks out to British Columbia in September to the Radium car show.
This picture of Murray’s car was taken in front of one of the historic murals in downtown Lacombe, and then edited with photoshop.
Next time you see Murray’s car, check out the handmade glass dragonfly on the grill. Not only do Wendy and Murray like cars, but they are also into hand made fused glass work. You can check out their work at www.innovativeglassdesigns.weebly.com .
