This is a 1951 chev truck with a 1954 box and has a 350/325 hp engine, 700R4 automatic, 4 wheel disc brakes, posi rear, and Mustang II rack and pinion steering. It was built in the early 90’s for a linebacker with the Edmonton Eskimos football team. It had been parked for some time when we bought it 5 years ago. It needed some TLC to get it back to “long cruise” readiness, but we have now have put on over 20,000 miles travelling through Alberta, British Columbia, Idaho and Washington. The bugs love the yellow and we like collecting them.
This is Bruce and Chris’s latest addition which they purchased in the fall of 2016. The car was fully restored in 1995/96 and then sold in 2003 in Calgary to a collector. It has been kept in heated storage and has less than 7000 miles put on it in the last 20 years. Bruce has a lot of paperwork documenting its restoration history. The Oldsmobile has its original motor, transmission and rear-end with all matching numbers. It has the Rally Pak option which includes gauges, tachometer, suspension and exhaust.
